17 August – 10 October 2015
The Art Center, Office of Academic Resources, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand

Through the Place and Image discusses the notions of art gallery and the identity of a space, asking the question “For what or whom an art gallery exists?” Chulayarnnon Siriphol and Latthapon Korkiatarkul draw from their past experience as gallery assistants at The Art Center to create dialogue about the meaning of an art gallery and the relationship between art and the audience. This exhibition binds together the image and images of The Art Center that never existed in other showcases before. As The Art Center celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, the gallery also takes this opportunity to reexamine itself and communicate with the audience about shared authority in the gallery.

The exhibition is part of PhotoBangkok
